Prepare to be captivated by one of Europe’s most celebrated string quartets making their Chamber Music Maryland debut. The French-Belgian Quatuor Danel, internationally revered for their bold, concentrated interpretations of the great Russian quartet cycles, brings their signature intensity to a program of stunning breadth. Cellist Natalie Clein returns to our stage, joining the quartet for Schubert’s sublime String Quintet in C major, one of the most profound works ever written for strings.
